- 1. Consortium: an association of two or more individuals,
companies, organizations or governments (or any combination of these
entities) with the objective of participating in a common activity
or pooling their resources for achieving a common goal. Each
participant retains its separate legal status and the consortium's
control over each participant is generally limited to activities
involving the joint endeavor.
- 2. What a way to make a living: I
have had several careers during my lifetime, so far. However, there
is always that idea that the time may come when you will be in
a position to take full advantage of all that you have learned and
all you have done.
- 3. An organizers dream:
Opportunity does not knock, it lies in wait for you to come upon and
to recognize for what it is. Opportunity, once found does not submit
easily to your wishes. It disguises and discourages and attempts to
lure you into believing you had not found it after all. The
friends discovered while shaking out this opportunity are a great
reward and have been well worth the effort if all else fails.
